Modern cameras make it easy to take a photo – simply turn up with the camera, and press the button. Easy, anyone can do it. This is a good thing – photography for everyone, I say.
It takes more to MAKE a photo – turn up with an idea in mind, then make it happen. It’s not about equipment – almost anyone can buy quality equipment. It’s about a combination of technique and vision – having the vision of the image you want to make, and having learned the ability to make the image with the equipment to hand.
